Silica Gel Packs for Preventing Tarnish on Jewelry? by Barbara Solomon. (California) I just read about using silica gel packs in plastic bags, to prevent tarnish on jewelry. If that works, it sounds like a better idea, than those tarnish strips, that seem to expire. I'm trying to prevent tarnish on my copper/gemstone jewelry. Anyone using them?
